Why we became Honda certified
We got certified because the vehicles changed. Today’s cars are engineered with ultra-high-strength steels, aluminum, structural adhesives and a network of cameras and radar that all have to work together after a crash. Repairing them right takes the training the manufacturer requires and the tools the manufacturer approves.
Certification doesn’t make a shop perfect, but it means you’re starting in the right place: a facility the automaker has trained, equipped and inspected, repairing your vehicle from the automaker’s procedures. We’re working toward more manufacturer certifications for the same reason.

What’s different about repairing a modern Honda

Why does a Honda need a certified body shop?
Modern Hondas use high-strength steels and the ACE body structure, which must be repaired with specific methods and equipment. Certified shops are trained, equipped and inspected by Honda to follow those procedures.
Will you use genuine Honda parts?
Yes. We write the estimate for genuine Honda parts as the repair procedures call for. If your insurer won’t pay for them, we’ll tell you before work starts.
Do you recalibrate Honda Sensing after a collision?
Yes. Collision mitigation braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise and related cameras and radar are recalibrated with Honda-required equipment when the repair calls for it.
