Insurance collision repair: your car, your choice of shop
We work with every insurance carrier. You decide where your car is repaired, and we write the estimate to what your car actually needs.

How a claim works with us
Bring us your claim number if you have one. If not, we can start with the estimate.
We repair to OEM procedures and include every required item in the estimate. When hidden damage shows up after teardown, we document it and get it added to your claim. All workmanship is backed by a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the vehicle.
Free estimate
Walk in, book a time, or send photos. We look at the car with you and explain what we see. No obligation.
Claim & teardown
Going through insurance? We send our estimate to your carrier. Once the car is here we take apart the damaged area to find hidden damage and get it added to the claim before repairs start.
Parts ordered
We order the parts your car’s manufacturer calls for. On Honda, Acura, Ford and Lincoln repairs that means genuine factory parts.
Structure & body
Frame and structural work is measured and repaired to the manufacturer’s published procedures, then the body panels are repaired or replaced.
Paint & refinish
Color is matched and blended in our paint booth so the repaired area disappears into the rest of the car.
Calibration & quality check
Cameras, radar and driver-assist sensors are recalibrated where the repair calls for it. Every car gets a final inspection before we call you.
Pick up with a limited lifetime warranty
We walk you through the repair and hand you a registered limited lifetime warranty, good for as long as you own the car.
Insurance questions
My insurance company wants me to go to their shop. Do I have to?
No. Your insurance company can recommend a shop, but in Illinois the choice is yours. Insurers sometimes tell customers they’ll have out-of-pocket costs if they go somewhere else. We can’t speak to your specific policy, so ask your agent to show you in writing what’s covered. Keep in mind that an insurer’s recommended shop has agreed to the insurer’s pricing and terms, so it saves the insurer money on what they owe you. Before you decide, get a free estimate from a facility certified for your make. It shows you what a full factory repair actually includes. Then the choice is yours.
Does my insurance company get to pick the body shop?
No. In Illinois the choice of repair shop is yours. Your insurer can suggest a shop from its network, but it can’t require you to use one.
What if the insurance estimate is lower than yours?
That’s common. The first insurance estimate is often written before anyone has seen the hidden damage. We document what we find after teardown and send a supplement to your insurer. If your policy still won’t cover something, we’ll explain the difference to you before we do the work.
Do I pay my deductible to you?
Yes. Your deductible is paid to the shop when you pick up your car. Your insurer pays the rest of the covered repair.
Can I use you if the accident wasn’t my fault?
Yes. You can file with the other driver’s insurance and still choose us for the repair.
